The Escape Room Ibiza website didn’t need a complicated structure. We knew what was important for new and returning customers and we optimized the site design for streamlined usability. We implemented a One Page Scroll design for all of the site’s main content, and a single separate page for the Reservation System.
The site design highlights usability – game descriptions, reservations, room availability, FAQ, and map & directions are all right at the user’s fingertips – everything is intuitive and right where you need it. We also coded the site with multiple language versions, simplifying usability for English and Spanish-speaking customers.
Given Escape Rooms Ibiza’s unique geographic location and audience, we made some special design considerations regarding device targeting. We knew the clientele would universally have high-end smartphones, with few users on desktop devices, so we targeted our UX design for mobile. This mobile first philosophy let us focus on functionality and user experience design patterns tailored to the client base’s devices, offering an unparalleled mobile experience.
We designed and developed a custom reservation system from the ground up to fulfill Escape Room’s specific needs. On the user side, the system is intuitive and easy to use, with a rich backend for Escape Room admin. Our custom admin control panel lets Escape Room staff see and manage reservations as well as set up and manage discount codes for use across their marketing campaigns and customer communication.
The reservation system brings the complete purchase cycle online with the inclusion of online payment. Users can place reservations and pay all with just a few clicks from their phone or computer. This payment system is integrated with the online system of a local Spanish bank through our custom-developed API, granting visitors a full suite of payment options at their fingertips.
We provided search engine optimization services as well as ongoing consulting on Escape Rooms Ibiza’s social media presence and marketing strategy. Our SEO initiatives placed Escape Rooms Ibiza squarely in the #1 search ranking for the business’ most important search terms, and secured them the #1 spot in Google Places. We provided social media branding and page designs, and trained and advised the Escape Rooms team on an ongoing basis. Our marketing consulting and social media strategy secured more than 1,000 Facebook fans in the first month of business operations, as well as consistent 5 star reviews from every single reviewer.
